We believe everyone deserves beautiful skin.
Charismatic Beauty is a skin care and beauty services business that started in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2019. The business began as the owner, Chasity Pendergrass made the decision to enroll in school to obtain her Esthetics Certification at the SHB International Hair Academy. At the time the business started as a mobile salon that was ready to serve clients in their home. Then in 2020, the COVID-19 virus shook up the world, shutting down nearly every business created. During the shutdown, no one was supposed to be operating a beauty business so that gave Pendergrass time to purchase equipment and brain storm on how to make a big come back once the pandemic passed. In the meantime, working for the City of Myrtle Beach was the main focus for Pendergrass because of the necessity of a steady income for survival. The career with the city is a positive one so the fact that Chasity couldn’t get the business started as soon as she hoped, wasn’t a total disappointment.
In 2021, the health of the world improved and it was time to “hit the ground running.” Not so fast though! Pendergrass completed the qualifications to test for the Esthetics license in 2020, but because of COVID, she had not obtained her license. Although the Esthetics license, isn’t a requirement to start a skincare line, it was a goal that Pendergrass wanted to accomplish. After six attempts and on the seventh try, the licensed was obtained in March of 2022. Through all of the obstacles, the goal of Charismatic Beauty slightly evolved into the desire to launch a skincare line. Finally, that desire is a reality.
